Daun Knight is a Michigan born abstract artist, currently residing in Denver, Colorado. Being a devoted enthusiast of bright colors and flowing, bold lines, Daun prefers to work on wood panels - layering acrylic paint and other mediums to achieve an ethereal feeling within her paintings with texture and a vibrant color palette. The painting process is always intuitive, combining luminous tangles of color with dark, sweeping curves in an attempt to counterbalance creativity and definition.
